Classes: The Art of Storytelling
We love to teach and inspire young people about the basics of storytelling through art. With the potential new knowledge they gain from our classes, students will hopefully be able to better understand the value and power that storytelling holds. We also hope to empower youth to tell their story, share their passions, and express their ideas and opinions about how to make the world a better place.
About our Storytelling Classes
The storytelling classes we offer are made up of around 10-15 students. Our classes teach the fundamentals of how to tell a story through drawings. We will highlight how one can use visual art (in this case drawings) to inspire societal change. Classes are held virtually (via google meet) and in person.
What to Expect
A class will typically run for an hour. It is split up into an introductory period, lecture time, delivery of basic instructions, drafting/work/collaboration time, presentation time, and feedback.
Our Classes are Free
It is very important to us that the youth of today knows the power of storytelling and the value each and every one of our voices holds. If more individuals learn to speak from their heart about subjects they are passionate about, the world might be more inclined to listen and thus act. Thus, we have made our courses free and accessible. All necessary materials can be found in one's home or will be provided (if the class is in person).
Who can sign-up?
Due to the structure and content of the course, we deemed the appropriate age group for our participants to be 5-10 years old.
